What Mississippi law says

What to do if you were purged

Purged means your name was removed from the county voter roll. "Purged (no voting activity)" means you were removed after not voting, not answering the confirmation card, and not updating your information through two federal general elections.

Three steps to get back on the roll

  1. 1

    Check YallVote.ms first

Go to YallVote.ms. You may have registered again since this list was made, or your name may have been listed by mistake.

  2. 2

    Register again

If you are not registered, register again at your county Circuit Clerk's office or by mail. You must register in the county where you live now.

  3. 3

    Ask for an affidavit ballot

If you believe you are still registered and your name is not in the poll book on Election Day, you have the right to vote by affidavit ballot. The county will check your registration.

For the November 3 election

  • The deadline to register for the November 3, 2026 election was October 5, 2026.
  • Registering now still counts for later elections.

Bring a photo ID

  • Bring a photo ID when you vote, such as a Mississippi driver's license, a state ID card, or a U.S. passport.
  • A free Mississippi Voter ID card is available at any Circuit Clerk's office.

Help a neighbor

  • Many people do not know they were removed. Check the list for family, friends, and neighbors.
  • Share this page, and call the hotline with any questions.

This is general information, not legal advice. Rules can change. Always confirm your status with your county Circuit Clerk. For help, call the One Voice Election Protection Hotline at 888-601-VOTE (8683), or the Secretary of State Elections Hotline at 1-800-829-6786.

If your name is listed

Three steps to protect your vote

01

Do not wait

Purged means you are no longer on the county voter roll. You will need to register again to vote in future elections.

02

Check your status

Go to YallVote.ms to see if you are registered, then register again with your county Circuit Clerk if you are not.

03

Ask for help

Call the One Voice Election Protection Hotline at 888-601-VOTE (8683). Then share this page with your family and neighbors.

These lists were copied from county reports, and some names may have been read wrong. Not seeing your name does not prove you are active. Always confirm with YallVote.ms or your county Circuit Clerk.

About these lists

Where the names come from

Our sources

  • These names come from inactive and purged voter reports released by Mississippi county election offices. The reports are dated 2023 to 2026.
  • We show only name, county, zip code, and list status. We never post addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, or Social Security numbers.
  • Some county reports were incomplete or hard to read, so some names may be missing or spelled wrong. Your status may also have changed since the report was made.
  • This is not the official voter roll. Your county Circuit Clerk keeps the official record.

Found a mistake?

  • If your name is listed by mistake: check your status at YallVote.ms. If you are registered and active, you do not need to do anything.
  • If the official record is wrong: contact your county Circuit Clerk. Only the Circuit Clerk can change your voter record.
  • If our list has an error, such as a misspelled name, the wrong county, or a name that should be removed: call the One Voice Election Protection Hotline at 888-601-VOTE (8683). We will check it against the county report and fix our list.
